John grew up in north Alabama. He received an undergraduate degree from Auburn University and earned a graduate degree from Cranbrook Academy of Art. he enjoys camping, paddling and exploring the pnw with his kids, running with his dog, hunting for the elusive glitter balls the cat hides, and building minecraft follies on the realm.
